ATMS Connect (“the App”) is developed and maintained by Metro Infrasys Pvt. Ltd. The application is intended for use by authorized highway operations personnel, including Route Patrolling Officers (RPOs), ambulance teams, crane operators, tow operators, supervisors, and other authorized field staff for incident reporting, workforce coordination, and traffic management.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to users.
2. Information We Collect
The App may collect the following information:
Account Information
- User name
- Employee ID (where applicable)
- Mobile number
- Login credentials or authentication information
- Assigned organization or operational unit
Location Information
The App collects precise device location to support highway incident management and workforce dispatch.
When authorized by the user, the App may continue collecting location while running in the background during an active work session so that the control room can monitor available field personnel and assign the nearest authorized responder to newly reported highway incidents.
Location tracking is used solely for operational purposes and is not intended for advertising or marketing.
Incident Information
The App may collect information submitted by users, including:
- Incident type
- Incident location
- Incident description
- Road or highway details
- Date and time of the incident
- Operational status updates
Photos and Media
Users may capture or upload photographs as part of incident reporting. These images are used only for operational documentation and incident management.
Device Information
The App may collect limited technical information such as:
- Device model
- Android version
- Application version
- Diagnostic and crash information when necessary to improve application stability
3. How We Use Your Information
Information collected through the App is used to:
- Authenticate authorized users
- Report and manage highway incidents
- Determine the location of reported incidents
- Monitor the availability of authorized field personnel
- Identify and dispatch the nearest available responder
- Coordinate emergency and traffic management operations

4. Background Location
The App requests background location access to support its core workforce dispatch functionality.
When a user is on duty or available for dispatch, the App may continue receiving location updates even when the application is minimized or not actively in use. This enables the control room to identify the nearest available authorized personnel and assign them to new highway incidents.
Location tracking is used only for operational purposes and is not sold or used for advertising.
5. Data Sharing
Information collected through the App is shared only with authorized operational systems and personnel responsible for highway operations and incident management.
We do not sell users’ personal information or location data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Information may be disclosed if required by applicable law or legal process.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
While we strive to protect user information, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to support operational requirements, legal obligations, incident management, auditing, and organizational record-keeping.

The App may request the following Android permissions based on the features used:

These permissions are used only to provide the corresponding functionality of the App.

The App may use trusted third-party services required for its operation, such as:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
- Google Play Services for location-related functionality

The App is intended exclusively for authorized employees and operational personnel. It is not designed for or directed toward children.
