Traffic Enforcement – Red Light & Speed Enforcement System

A red light camera is a traffic camera that takes an image of a vehicle that goes through an intersection where the light is red. The system continuously monitors the traffic signal and the camera is triggered by any vehicle entering the intersection above a preset minimum speed and following a specified time after the signal has turned red.

Generally the camera is triggered when a vehicle enters the intersection after the traffic light has turned red. Typically, a law enforcement official will review the photographic evidence and determine whether a violation occurred. A citation is then usually mailed to the owner of the vehicle found to be in violation of the law.

How Red Light Enforcement works?

The system is characterized by optical unit (Camera) with high-resolution which allows the contemporary monitoring of more lanes for the same Dirving Direction.
