The Metro Transportation Management Center based on IBM IOC, integrates cutting-edge ITS technologies with ready-to-deploy solutions. This assists in maximizing the network capacity and minimizing the impact of incidents.
    The successful collaboration between Metro and IBM has created remarkable results, such as the Bangalore Airport Road. An Intelligent Control Center is in place here, covered by a network of roadside devices. There are 6 Toll plazas with 56 lanes, over a stretch of 183 Km, all of which benefit from IBM’s expertise in using ITS solutions.

The jointly developed product, “advanced video sensor”, provides live traffic feed to the controller, whilst simultaneously connecting them to the master, through wireless methods.
